5 themes of geography
1) Human/Environment Interaction:
People live in Tomato Land always have a fear about the volcano. The first time they came to Tomato Island and live near the volcano because they thought it won’t erupt. The volcanos did erupted and destroy farmland, killed a lot of people and animals. Later then, people plant fruit and rice on another land. They hunted in the forest for some food and also have ships to catch fishes
2) Place:
In Tomato Land , there are lots of river branches all over the land. But the special thing is that the part of the river where separate the farming land with the volcano is actually was hand made because they want to keep the lava away from them. There are mountains too, they are not really high but they keep away the cold weather. In Tomato Land , there is a forest too. In the forest, people hunt for food, but also growing tree to keep the animals alive.
3) Movement:
After the volcano first erupted, the Indians people moved out from the volcano and live far away. People there travel with by walking or taking boat to go along with the river.
4) Region:
People in Tomato Land very friendly to each other and sometimes live with each other for a short time. They spoke English because they used to be invaded by England . They wear clothes that were made of animals’ fur to keep warm and it’s also the cloth that they wore everyday life. The weather is really nice, sometimes it’s hot but sometimes it’s really cold. But because of them mountains that keep away the cold wind from the North, the weather always stay at medium. Their traditional food is tomatoes. Because their land have a shape of a tomato so they decide to take tomatoes as their traditional food.
